Getting attacked by virus and Trojans in itself is an annoying experience. And if you’ve been so lucky as to get one of those intruders that delete or turn off Windows features… I feel your pain. If you use the Control Panel frequently, you may have noticed you can’t right click the shortcut in the start menu and click Pin to Taskbar. In this guide, I’ll show you how to pin the Control Panel to the taskbar and then pin your favorite apps for quick access.

Show Hidden Files in Windows
To show hidden files in Windows:
- Open (My) Computer.
- Windows Vista/7: press the Alt key.
- Click Tools > Folder Options…
- Click the View tab, select Show hidden files and folders, and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
- Click Yes to accept the warning about showing hidden operating system files.
- Click OK to save your settings.
