We replaced an internal wireless adapter with this USB dongle, and receive a much better signal.  Same distance from the original Wireless-G router.  We will be installing a Cisco-Linksys E2000 Wireless-N router shortly, which we hope will increase it even further.  Will keep you posted, but preliminaries on this adapter are great!
